The Gavin Brown Gallery will become part of the Gladstone Gallery

Visionary art dealer Gavin Brown is closing the Gavin Brown Gallery, founded in 1994.  The three-story gallery, located in a former brewery on 27th Street in New York, will join the impressive Gladstone Gallery.  Some of Brown’s top artists will then be incorporated into the new gallery.  About this merger, Barbara Gladstone says:” I think this moment in history is an important time to think about new possibilities in the art world. I have long admired Gavin for his originality, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with him”.  As for Brown, it is not clear why this choice, but it is said lucky to be able to start a new chapter alongside Gladstone.  Brown will continue to take care of the space of Rome located in a deconsecrated church in the district of Trastevere.
